Job summary

Imec, Leuven, Belgium, seeks an experienced IC design researcher to actively participate in the innovation and design of RF/mm-Wave and high-speed (Gs/s) integrated circuits in advanced CMOS and III‑V technologies. You will drive design evolution, collaborate across disciplines, and publish results in leading venues.

Qualifications

• PhD degree or equivalent in analog/RF/mm-wave IC design.
• Solid design experience in advanced CMOS technologies (28nm, 16nmFF, 5nm).
• Experience designing in III-V technologies.
• Profound understanding of transistor-level circuits.
• Experience in state-of-the-art high-speed analog/RF circuit design is a strong plus.
• Familiar with design and layout steps and tools for high-performance analog/mixed-signal circuits.
• Broad interest across multiple circuit design domains and willingness to collaborate across disciplines.
• Fluency in English is essential in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Research and design of innovative high-speed, low-power RF and analog/mixed-signal ICs in CMOS and III-V technologies.
• Drive bottom-up evolution of these ICs considering scaling trends.
• Collaborate with the team to bring new ideas and technical innovations.
• Engage in technical interactions with external partners and prospects.
• Publish state-of-the-art results in international conferences or journals.
