Tractebel, a part of the ENGIE Group, is seeking an experienced Project Leader Ports & Waterways to drive marine infrastructure projects from feasibility to detailed design. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with Belgian/European standards, and engage with clients and partners worldwide.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, innovative problem-solving, and mentoring junior engineers within a dynamic, globally active water infrastructure unit.

Qualifications

• Master in Structural Engineering or Civil/Bouwkunde engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant design experience.
• Experience with Belgian/European design standards and codes for marine infrastructure.
• Experience in 3D concrete reinforcement design.

Responsabilités

• Lead marine infrastructure design from feasibility to detailed engineering per Belgian/European standards.
• Analyze optimum installation methods with openness to innovative solutions.
• Serve as technical contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across interfaces.
• Identify cost-effective, sustainable engineering solutions.
• Manage project quality, progress, risks and financials.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge development.
