Tractebel, part of the ENGIE Group, is seeking a Project Engineer Water & Civil Infra to contribute to marine infrastructure projects with a strong client-facing design role.

You will lead design efforts for quay walls, locks, jetties and related structures, coordinating with joint venture partners and internal teams while ensuring compliance with Belgian and European standards and delivering high-quality, on-time outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering with marine specialities.
• At least 5 years of relevant design experience.
• Experience with Belgian and European design standards.
• Knowledge of Dutch is essential; English or French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Take the design lead in part of a large marine infrastructure project.
• Communicate with client and external partners on technical design during construction.
• Dimension marine infrastructure projects following Belgian/European standards.
• Prepare designs for Port Master planning, locks, quay walls, jetties, bridge foundations, dikes and breakwaters.
• Coordinate with multiple competence centres and mentor junior engineers and CAD designers.
