Tractebel is seeking a Project Engineer Water & Civil Infra to lead design activities for marine infrastructure projects in our Water infrastructure department. You will collaborate with clients, joint-venture partners, and design teams to develop feasible, robust solutions.

We value individuals who can coach junior engineers, ensure quality/delivery, and manage the project scope, schedule, and budget across disciplines. Fluency in Dutch plus English/French is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Structural Engineering with a major in dredging/offshore or marine engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant technical design experience.
• Experience applying Belgian/European design codes for marine infrastructure.
• Experience in designing concrete reinforcement in complex 3D structures.
• Extensive knowledge of Belgian/European design standards and codes (ISO, EC, SB250/SB260).
• Knowledge of building permit processes in Flanders is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Take the design lead on part of large marine infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with clients and joint-venture partners during the design phase.
• Dimension marine infrastructure following Belgian/European standards.
• Prepare concepts and detailed designs for port and waterways structures.
• Coordinate across Tractebel competence centers and external partners.
• Coach junior engineers and CAD designers; supervise drafting work.
