UCB is seeking a Pharmacometrics Team Lead to strengthen the Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology group, with locations in Slough (UK), Monheim (Germany) or Braine (Belgium).

You will mentor junior staff, lead pharmacometrics strategy, and perform hands-on population PK/PD modeling and trial simulations to support dose selection and development. The role blends science leadership with collaboration across global projects and authorities.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Statistics or Engineering required.
• 8+ years in (Bio)pharmaceutical pharmametrics with at least 2 years line management responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience in population PK/PD, disease progression modelling and clinical trial simulations.
• Strong understanding of Bayesian methodologies, model-based meta-analyses, PBPK, QSP, and AI/ML in Pharmacometrics.
• Expertise in R, NONMEM or related pharmacometrics software.

Responsabilités

• Coaching and mentoring junior staff within a matrix organization.
• Leading and delivering the Pharmacometrics strategy to support asset development and dose selection.
• Performing hands-on population PK/PD and exposure‑response modeling on assigned projects.
• Developing submission-ready pharmacometrics analysis plans and reports.
• Initiating and overseeing outsourced pharmacometrics activities.
• Collaborating with health authorities and cross-functional teams globally.
• Promoting MID3 internally and externally.
