Salve.Lab is seeking an experienced Maintenance Foreman/Lead Maintenance Technician for a busy industrial production environment. This hands-on role balances technical troubleshooting with leading a small maintenance team on the production floor.

You will ensure high equipment availability, resolve breakdowns, and drive reliability improvements across installations while working in a two-shift system.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in industrial technical or production environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanics, electricity and pneumatics.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial production machinery.
• Experience with drives, sensors and pneumatic components.
• Previous leadership, supervisory or team coordination experience.
• Experience with packaging machinery and format changes is a strong advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Hands-on on the production floor.
• Able to work in a team and coordinate priorities.
• Dutch and English proficiency.
• Willingness to work in 2-shift system.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate a small team of maintenance technicians while actively involved in technical interventions.
• Analyse, diagnose and resolve breakdowns across production machinery.
• Perform root-cause analysis and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Monitor and register technical interventions using a ticketing system.
• Discuss technical solutions and participate in daily meetings and shift handovers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the technical department.
• Optimise format changes and settings on packaging machinery.
• Support installation and commissioning of new production lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support efficient day-to-day operation of production equipment.
