Atlas Copco Group in Belgium is seeking a motivated project leader to drive OIS compressor product development from concept to industrialization. You will guide the product from specifications to production, coordinating cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

You will work hands-on at the Wilrijk headquarters, overseeing development, testing, and manufacturing activities with a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as project leader/manager in a technical environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a product development context.
• Technical background in mechanical engineering with strong analytical skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Team player who can motivate a project team.
• Results driven, commit to targets and make decisions based on data.
• Clear, concise, and effective communication; able to raise red flags.

Responsabilités

• Lead and steer the project team throughout the product development process from concept to industrialization.
• Guide the product specifications to a conceptual design, prototype testing, and production process development.
• Ensure technical coherence during design with input from the team and internal tools; optimize cost and value for stakeholders.
• Hands-on involvement in product development, testing, and manufacturing at the headquarters.
