Job summary

Novartis Belux is seeking a seasoned Project Leader to drive Lean Digital Core (S/4HANA) implementations. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, governance, and deployment while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to achieve robust business outcomes.

In this role, you will manage budgets, risks, and schedules, ensuring quality and compliance across global projects. A strong leadership presence and executive reporting are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Business/Engineering or related area.
• 9+ years of experience managing large IT, ERP, digital transformation, or SAP/LDC projects.
• Strong project governance, risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with project budgets, procurement processes, and vendor contracts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional and matrix teams and engage senior leaders.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements in enterprise projects.
• Excellent communication and executive reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of LDC project (S/4HANA) from initiation through deployment and operations transition.
• Establish project governance and manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to business outcomes and quality standards.
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, SOWs, procurement, and change requests.
• Drive resource planning and optimal utilization using standardized PM methodologies and tools.
• Provide transparent reporting with status updates, KPIs, and executive communications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, DDIT, cross-functional teams, and vendors for successful execution.
• Ensure compliance with security, quality, regulatory, HSE, and governance throughout the lifecycle.

Summary

Acts as the business representative for Lean Digital Core (S/4HANA) implementation, leading the delivery of medium to large-scale projects, managing stakeholders and project teams, ensuring quality, compliance, risk management, and successful release deployment, while enabling a smooth transition into operations.

About The Role

Major Accountabilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of LDC project (S4/Hana) from initiation through deployment and transition to operations.
• Establish project governance and manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and aligned to agreed business outcomes and quality standards.
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, statements of work, procurement, and change requests.
• Drive effective resource planning and utilization while applying standardized project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Provide transparent project reporting, maintaining accurate status updates, documentation, KPIs, and executive-level communications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, DDIT functions, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure compliance with security, quality, regulatory, HSE, and governance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Total 9+ year of exp with proven experience managing large-scale IT, ERP, digital transformation, or SAP/LDC projects in complex global environments.
• Strong project management expertise, including scope, risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing project budgets, financial governance, procurement processes, and vendor contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and matrix teams, influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, governance frameworks, and delivery best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive reporting skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and steering committees.
• Understanding of security, compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements within enterprise technology project delivery.
