Job summary

Air Products in Meise, Belgium is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead the QC laboratory, ensuring accurate analyses of gases and raw materials in line with GMP and the Quality Management System. The role combines laboratory expertise with operational coordination and leadership, working with the Qualified Person and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in chemistry or a related science field.
• Experience performing laboratory analyses and assessing results with accuracy.
• Experience with GMP, QA processes and documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily QC work including analyses, equipment checks, results and COAs.
• Oversee testing and evaluation of raw materials, packaging, intermediates and finished products.
• Develop, implement and validate analytical methods with the Qualified Person per GMP and pharmacopoeia.
• Manage calibration, maintenance and documentation of laboratory equipment.
• Lead, motivate and train laboratory staff.
• Review and approve QC documents: specifications, test methods, SOPs, and OOS documentation.
• Act as internal lead auditor and contribute to client audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with Quality, Sales, European QC teams and customers.
