Zifo seeks a Lab Computing Analyst in Ghent, Belgium, to deliver technical laboratory services, including multivendor instrument IT and validation/compliance support. You will work with business users and the Zifo team to analyze needs and propose solutions that meet the desired state, ensuring alignment with client policies and best practices.

You will support lab computing, install/relocate equipment, implement Windows security, manage inventories, and assist in system validation and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in computer science, life science or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of relevant technical experience including Windows technologies, networking, remote computing and backup systems.
• Experience with virtual machine support is preferred.
• Experience with scientific instrumentation is preferred.
• Ignition automation software experience is a plus, training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Provides technical support of customer laboratory environments, typically for computers that are integrated with instrumentation.
• Manages lab computing aspects of installing new, retirement and relocation of equipment.
• Implements Windows based security.
• Ensures adherence to client’s corporate policies through periodic reporting and compliance programs.
• Acts as the technical support contact for field service engineers and external vendors.
• Provides technical subject matter expertise for new system validation and change management efforts.
• Document procedures, policies, troubleshooting and best practices.
• Create and maintain a physical inventory of lab equipment, PCs, software, and any other information pertinent to the environment.
