Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Lab Analyst for our Rixensart site to support analytical testing in process development. You will perform protein and DNA assays, run JESS/capillary-based Western blot, and contribute to data interpretation and reporting.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related scientific field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in English (French a plus). Expect a full-time contract with standard hours and ongoing professional development in a

Qualifications

• Master's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related scientific field.
• Hands-on experience with protein analysis, DNA assays, cell proliferation studies, and molecular biology techniques.
• Experience with JESS (automated capillary-based western blot) or similar protein characterization platforms is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret experimental data, identify trends, and communicate scientific conclusions.
• Knowledge of quality systems, data review processes, laboratory investigations, and regulated environments (GxP/GMP/GLP).
• Excellent communication in English. French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform BCA assays and other analytical testing.
• Conduct JESS assays and other molecular biology techniques.
• Analyze data and present conclusions to supervisor.
• Review data generated by teammates and help revise procedures.
• Communicate with client contacts to align analysis needs and interpretations.
• Maintain reagents and equipment, ensure EHS compliance.

Job Description

As Lab Analyst, you will join our team working on analytical testing related to a department working on process development. The following are some of the main tasks.

Responsibilities

• Bicinchoninic Acid Assay (BCA Assay), a laboratory method used to determine the total protein concentration in a sample.
• JESS technique (automated capillary-based western blot platform)
• Cell proliferation studies
• Other molecular biology techniques
• Interpreting experimental data and presenting conclusions to supervisor.
• Reviewing the data generated by other analyst of the team.
• Participating in the revision of the procedures.
• Communicating with client contacts for shared understanding of analysis needs, expectations and interpretation of results.
• Reporting any issues within area of work (out of trend, out of specification results, equipment issue or conflict in activities…), proposing solutions and participating in investigations whenever necessary.
• Adhering to the quality systems, understanding and applying applicable corporate, divisional and departmental requirements as relevant.
• Maintaining laboratory reagents, materials and equipment in good operating order.
• Adhering to general and specific environmental, health and safety (EHS) guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in molecular biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.

• Knowledge of quality systems, data review processes, laboratory investigations, and regulated environments (GxP/GMP/GLP).
• Excellent communication in English. French is a plus., organizational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional stakeholders.

Additional Information

• A full-time (40hours/week) Monday – Friday job.
