Job summary

EMW, Inc. is seeking a Kubernetes-DevOps Engineer to streamline application delivery and bridge development with infrastructure in a fully on-site role in Belgium. The candidate will administer container platforms and lead CI/CD automation across on-prem and cloud resources.

Requirements include a NATO SECRET clearance, 5+ years in DevOps, and strong experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, Terraform, Ansible, and observability stacks. Some after-hours work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET clearance is required.
• At least 5 years hands-on DevOps or automated platform management experience.
• Experience deploying and administering container workloads on Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2 and Docker.
• Strong CI/CD, GitOps, pipeline automation, and version control (GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
• IaC with Terraform and automation with Ansible.
• Hybrid infrastructure management across VMware and major clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Scripting in Bash or Python for automation.
• Observability stacks with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

Responsibilities

• Administer container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2, Docker).
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and delivery.
• Provision and manage hybrid on-premise and cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform reliability.
• Embed security and compliance into deployment pipelines and configs.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and deployment issues across Agile teams.
• Some work outside normal hours may be required.
