Job summary

WLG in Belgium seeks a hands-on cloud engineer to run container platforms and cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring uptime and resilience for a multinational defence organisation near Brussels.

You will administer enterprise cloud environments, handle escalated support, provision resources, manage cloud networking, and automate deployments using Terraform, Python, Bash or PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Experience administering enterprise cloud environments in AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker in cloud and on-prem environments.
• DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices in cloud contexts.

Responsibilities

• Administering and configuring enterprise cloud environments in AWS or Azure.
• Handling level 2 and 3 cloud support and resolving operational problems quickly.
• Provisioning VMs, storage and databases in the cloud with high availability.
• Managing cloud networking: VPCs, subnets, route tables, VPNs and dedicated links.
• Automating deployments with Terraform or similar, and scripting routine work in Python, Bash or PowerShell
