Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Kontich is seeking a Team Leader to supervise a warehouse team, plan daily activities, and drive efficiency and safety. You will collaborate with shift leaders to maintain smooth operations and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The role requires frontline leadership experience in warehousing, strong communication skills, and flexibility for early/late shifts. A vocational logistics qualification and knowledge of WMS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Experience in warehouse logistics and working with WMS.
• Experience leading a team and interacting with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of warehouse employees in your area.
• Plan, monitor and optimise warehouse processes.
• Support shift management in projects to increase efficiency and quality.
• Ensure safety and load securing regulations are followed.
• Conduct training and instruction for staff.
• Lead team meetings and foster collaborative communication.
• Maintain accurate administration and reporting in systems.
• Safeguard QSHE quality standards and take corrective actions when needed.
