Synthomer plc in Belgium is seeking a Junior Mechanical Technician to join our production team in Evergem. You will contribute to maintaining and optimizing mechanical installations, working in a compact, safety-focused team with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• TSO diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent by experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical installations (pumps, valves, etc.).
• Able to read technical drawings and communicate in Dutch with basic English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safe and compliant execution of maintenance work and add risk assessments and work permits as required.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep installations reliable.
• Diagnose faults, implement robust solutions, and document activities in the OH management system.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractor management and on-call duties.
• Continuously improve maintenance processes with focus on quality and cost efficiency.
