Job summary

European Commission's PMO is seeking an IT Business Analyst Assistant in Brussels within the Digital support sector. You will work under supervision to deliver high-quality IT solutions and services underpinning PMO SLAs, coordinating between PMO Customers, business users and IT teams.

You will assist System Owners, manage business changes, ensure proper functioning of IT solutions, and report on progress. English proficiency is essential; knowledge of French is an asset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business analysis within digital transformation projects.
• Experience in customer relationship management and stakeholder management.
• Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle, service and project management, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with IT service management methodologies (ITIL) and related technologies.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate needs into concrete IT solutions.
• Excellent command of English (oral and written); French knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the unit by liaising between PMO Customers, business user representatives and business managers.
• Analyse and evaluate working methods and processes; propose improvements in service roll-out.
• Support governance of Customer Relationship Management from an IT perspective.
• Coordinate changes to support SLA implementation and PMO services with EUIBA customers.
• Regularly collect and advise stakeholders on needs; review and prioritise requirements.
• Plan, organise and monitor changes within IT solutions supporting business processes.
• Draft annual IT work plans and coordinate activities with IT services provider.
• Follow and report progress of projects, changes and operations.
• Prepare meetings, write reports and maintain supporting documentation.
