As an Information Security Consultant you will support senior consultants, analyze client security practices, help develop ISMS policies, and contribute to risk assessments and roadmaps that raise security maturity. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Background in IT or cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of ISO27001; Certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into high-quality reports for stakeholders.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support senior consultants in delivering tailored information- & cybersecurity solutions to clients.
• Analyse and document clients' existing security practices to evaluate their current information security posture.
• Assist in the development and implementation of ISMS, including drafting policies and procedures.
• Perform third-party risk and security assessments to ensure vendor and partner compliance with security standards.
• Create roadmaps with recommendations to enhance clients’ cybersecurity maturity.
• Assist the internal CISO in reaching information security goals.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to create high-quality reports and solutions.
• Contribute independently and as part of a team to ensure successful project execution.

What a day as an Information Security Consultant looks like

As an Information Security Consultant, your role involves a blend of autonomy, collaboration, and impactful work to strengthen clients’ cybersecurity maturity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting senior consultants in delivering tailored information- & cybersecurity solutions to clients.
• Analysing and documenting clients' existing security practices through interviews and assessments to evaluate their current information security posture.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), including drafting and refining policies and procedures.
• Performing third-party risk and security assessments to ensure vendor and partner compliance with security standards.
• Creating and implementing roadmaps with recommendations that enhance clients’ cybersecurity maturity.
• Assisting the internal Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in reaching the information security goals.
• Collaborating with senior consultants to create high-quality reports and solutions aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Contributing independently and as part of a team to ensure the successful execution of projects tailored to client needs.
