Ernst & Young in Belgium is seeking a Junior Finance Transformation Consultant to drive CFO agendas within the Financial Services sector. You will shape Finance function strategies and operate models, while delivering process improvement and technology-enabled transformation across client engagements.

The role emphasizes collaboration, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset, with January 2027 or September 2027 start options and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Economics, Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of business English, and a solid level of French and/or Dutch.
• Strong team spirit with autonomy.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Keen interest in the Belgian Financial Services market and beyond.

In order to strengthen our growing CFO Consulting team, we are looking for Junior Consultants to address challenges within the finance domain.
In Financial Services rapidly changing environment, the CFOs have important roles to play, firstly by making the Finance function more efficient, and secondly by making it more effective by playing a strategic business advisor role and hence enabling the broader transformation of Financial Services organizations.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Finance Consultant in CFO Consulting, you will help drive CFO’s agenda forward and you will play an important role in shaping some of the following areas:

• Determine the Finance function Strategy and Operating Model, aligned to the Corporate objectives;
• Analyze and optimize Finance Processes, aiming at improving the finance function efficiency and a better use of the resources;
• Leverage Smart Automation and Data & Analytics solutions to build Digital Finance teams;
• Implement new technology (Cloud, ERP, (Gen)AI and FP&A solutions) and optimize Finance Systems to arm CFO offices for the future;
• Implement new regulations impacting Financial Services;
• Upstaffing projects where you will temporarily join the Finance department of our clients.

Your Profile
You have/are:

• Master degree in a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Business Management, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration...);
• An excellent knowledge of business English, and a solid level of French and/or Dutch;
• Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy;
• Excellent analytical skills, conceptual thinking and pragmatic approach;
• Solid communication and presentation skills;
• A keen interest to learn more about the Financial Services market in Belgium and beyond;
• Available to start in January 2027 or September 2027.
