Fieldfisher Belgium is seeking a highly motivated (Junior) Associate to join its EU Competition practice in Brussels. The role offers exposure to cross-border matters and a fast-growing European hub within an international firm.

You will work with talented colleagues in Belgium and abroad to develop expertise in EU Competition law and related disciplines. The successful candidate will have 0–5 years of experience, an LLM in Competition Law, and strong English skills; French and/or Dutch skills

Qualifications

• 0 to 5 years of experience in Competition Law.
• Strong academic track record.
• LLM in Competition Law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Written and verbal communication skills in French and/or Dutch are a plus.
• First experience in an international law firm or inhouse legal department of an international company, e.g. through summer placements or student internships.
• Ability to work well both in a team and individually.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to EU Competition matters and related assignments for Belgian/European clients.
• Participate in training, seminars, and business development activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Belgium and abroad on cross-border matters.
