Daikin Europe in Ghent, Belgium, is hiring a junior embedded software engineer to grow as a technical expert while overseeing development with external partners. You will start by translating requirements into specifications and coordinate with suppliers to ensure deliverables meet our standards.

The role offers a permanent contract, training, and a competitive salary with fringe benefits. A hybrid work model with two days from home is provided to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronics or ICT or related.
• Interest in embedded software development.
• Strong team player with conceptual thinking and good communication.

Responsabilités

• Formulate software and user interface specifications from stakeholder requirements.
• Communicate development and testing requirements to external partners.
• Own development tracks with suppliers and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Assist the team with support, issue analysis, and countermeasure proposals.
• Follow technological evolutions and propose their inclusion.
• Coordinate activities with a senior embedded software engineer.
