Job summary

Huxley in Belgium (Brussels area) is seeking a Junior Digital Workplace Engineer to help deliver a modern, secure digital workplace within the Microsoft ecosystem.

You will support daily operations, deployments and improvements across Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Intune and Teams, and collaborate with IT teams on workplace projects.

This role offers hands-on experience with end-user computing, collaboration technologies, printing solutions and ongoing workplace modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in IT, Systems Administration or Infrastructure.
• Initial experience in IT Support, Workplace Services, Systems Administration or Infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Intune and/or Entra ID is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of networking, security and authentication concepts.
• Interest in automation, PowerShell and Power Automate.
• Good communication skills in English and French and/or Dutch.

Junior Digital Workplace Engineer

Mission

As a Junior Digital Workplace Engineer, you will contribute to delivering a modern, secure and efficient digital workplace environment. Working primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem, you will support daily operations, troubleshooting, deployments and workplace improvement initiatives while developing your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Modern Workplace & Microsoft 365

• Support Windows workplace environments and Microsoft 365 services.

• Assist with Intune, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Outlook and Microsoft 365 applications.

• Test and validate new workplace configurations, applications and features.

• Troubleshoot endpoint, application, connectivity and Microsoft 365 issues.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and workplace modernization initiatives.

Collaboration & Meeting Room Technologies

• Maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms and audiovisual collaboration equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance and software updates.

• Investigate recurring issues and coordinate resolutions.

• Participate in the deployment of new collaboration technologies.

Printing & End-User Services

• Support enterprise printing solutions and multifunction devices.

• Manage printer configurations, drivers and software updates.

• Coordinate incidents and maintenance activities with third-party providers.

Technical Support & Projects

• Act as an escalation point for workplace-related incidents.

• Investigate recurring problems and contribute to long-term solutions.

• Participate in workplace deployments, migrations, pilots and technical implementations.

• Support automation and process improvement initiatives.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Workplace, Infrastructure, Security, IAM and Network teams.

• Coordinate with external service providers and technology partners.

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Profile

• Degree or equivalent experience in IT, Systems Administration or Infrastructure.

• Initial experience in IT Support, Workplace Services, Systems Administration or Infrastructure.

• Good knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365.

• Familiarity with Intune and/or Entra ID is an advantage.
