Jan De Nul in Aalst is seeking a Junior Contract Manager to help manage contracts for offshore and dredging projects worldwide. You will work with project teams and legal specialists, developing expertise in construction contracts, risk management and project delivery, under the guidance of experienced colleagues.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; internship or up to two years of relevant experience is an asset but not required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law, Civil or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Recent graduates welcome; internship or up to 2 years’ experience in contract management is an asset.
• Interest in construction contracts, project management and commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate in international teams.
• Fluent in Dutch with good English; French knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support management of contracts with subcontractors, suppliers and partners on offshore and dredging projects.
• Review and interpret construction and engineering contracts; identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare contract notices, correspondence and documentation under guidance of senior managers.
• Assist in contractual submissions—delay and cost analyses with stakeholders and legal counsel.
• Monitor obligations and ensure compliance throughout projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams for sound contractual decisions.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and records.
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvements within Contract Management.
