Jan De Nul Group is seeking an experienced Contract Manager Offshore Renewables to lead contractual and commercial aspects for complex international projects. The role operates from Aalst (Hofstade), Belgium, with an international project footprint and occasional travel.

You will translate technical and operational details into effective contractual strategies, manage risks and negotiations, and support the full project lifecycle from tender to close-out.

Qualificações

• Higher degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Business Engineering, Economics, or Quantity Surveying.
• 7–10 years of relevant contract or commercial project management experience.
• Strong understanding of contractual and commercial principles.
• English fluency; knowledge of Dutch or other languages is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Managing contractual aspects of offshore renewable energy projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Identifying and managing contractual risks, opportunities and commercial exposure.
• Preparing and substantiating claims, variations, extensions of time and additional costs.
• Drafting contractual correspondence and ensuring compliance with obligations and notice requirements.
• Leading negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual matters.
• Reviewing and negotiating subcontracts and supplier agreements.
• Advising project teams on contractual matters and mitigation strategies.
• Supporting resolution of contractual disputes in cooperation with the legal department.
• Collaborating with Tender Engineering to identify risks and opportunities during bids.
• Sharing knowledge to develop Contract Management within Offshore Renewables.
