Monard Law seeks a (Junior) Associate in Banking & Finance to join its Belgian team. You will handle banking and finance matters from A to Z, advise on transactions and regulation, draft agreements, and support negotiations while growing expertise in a pragmatic, client-focused environment.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues, take ownership of matters early, and contribute to the continued development of the Banking & Finance practice at Monard Law.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian university.
• 3–4 years of Banking & Finance law experience or similar.
• Fluency in Dutch with strong French and English skills.

Responsabilités

• Handle banking and finance files from A to Z with early responsibility.
• Advise clients on banking regulation, financial transactions and compliance matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and financial agreements.
• Analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and translate them into practical solutions.
• Assist clients in negotiations and, where relevant, litigation proceedings.
• Stay up to date with developments in banking legislation and regulation.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients as a trusted partner.
• Contribute to the growth and development of Monard Law’s Banking & Finance practice.
