Job summary

Stibbe, a leading Benelux law firm, invites applications for a Junior Associate in its Brussels office. You will work across Litigation, Arbitration & General Commercial matters, gaining exposure to high-stakes disputes with an international dimension and comprehensive training from senior lawyers.

The role requires a Belgian law degree, 1–3 years’ litigation experience, and fluency in French with strong business English; Dutch skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Belgian law degree with an excellent academic record.
• 1–3 years of experience as a lawyer in a litigation department.

Responsibilities

• Join a team handling high-level contentious and advisory matters, often with an international dimension.
• Receive excellent training while taking first-line ownership of your own matters.
• Collaborate with associates and partners across practice areas on large national and international cases.
• Engage directly with clients and opposing parties in negotiations and proceedings.
• Develop language skills in French, English, and ideally Dutch (passive).
