Capgemini Engineering in Belgium is seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of mechanical systems for aerospace and defence. You will design components using CATIA and CREO, and work with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure robust solutions.

The role requires 1–2 years in mechanical engineering, an engineering degree, hands-on CATIA/CREO experience, knowledge of fluid dynamics and aerodynamics, and fluent French and English.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficient in CATIA and CREO for mechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics and aerodynamics.
• Fluent in French and English with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for aerospace and defence using CATIA and CREO.
• Perform analyses to support design optimization and reliability.
• Collaborate with systems, electronics, and manufacturing engineers for integration.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, design reports and test plans.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement activities.
