Capgemini Belgium is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead design and integration across launcher product families, including metallic and composite structures.

You will own engineering changes, GD&T, and PLM data management in Creo/Windchill, collaborating with Design Office, Manufacturing, Quality and Project teams. Fluency in French and English is required. The role features hybrid work with international flexibility, including a flex abroad program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design or engineering lifecycle management.
• Strong expertise in mechanical design, assemblies, and system interfaces with GD&T and ISO GPS standards.
• Proficient with CAD and PLM tools; Creo and Windchill preferred.
• Able to manage product data and engineering documentation in a structured environment; fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Manage and coordinate engineering changes, non-conformities, and technical investigations.
• Develop and validate mechanical solutions; create and review drawings and assemblies.
• Apply functional dimensioning, tolerance stack-up analysis, and ISO GPS standards.
• Ensure technical consistency of engineering definition packages and validate EBOMs in a PLM environment.
• Interface with Design Office, Manufacturing, Quality and Project teams; drive continuous improvement.
