Manufacture Belge de Chocolats in Brussels seeks an accounting assistant to support daily accounting tasks, ensure precise financial records, and help with VAT and statutory compliance. You will process invoices, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end closings.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics, up to 3 years' experience, fluency in Dutch and French with good English, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Belgian tax rules. MS Dynamics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Up to 3 years of experience; recent graduates welcome.
• Fluent in Dutch and French, with good knowledge of English.
• Knowledge of Belgium tax and legal regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• MS Dynamics knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Process and verify purchase invoices and bank statements.
• Follow up on supplier payments and payment reminders; manage customer collections.
• Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
• Support daily accounting administration and ensure up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare VAT returns, Intrastat and intra-community declarations.
