Yechte Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Belgium. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests while documenting results and reporting software quality to developers and stakeholders.

You will contribute to the test automation strategy, tool selection, and coverage within an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating across QA, analysts, and developers to improve processes and products.

Qualificações

• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in test automation.
• Very good knowledge of Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, this is a must-have.
• Experience with BDD/Gherkin, for example Cucumber.
• Experience with Selenium and XRAY.
• Good knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with API testing and REST.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/Angular.
• Insight into synchronous and asynchronous communication, such as APIs and events.
• Knowledge of ISTQB or similar is a plus.
• Proactive, communicative and independent; able to contribute to test architecture.
• Experience contributing to test automation strategy in Agile teams.
• Dutch or French-speaking with good English.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzing and clarifying functional and non-functional requirements.
• Designing, developing, maintaining, and documenting automated tests.
• Drafting and managing test cases.
• Following the bug lifecycle.
• Documenting test results and reporting on software quality to developers and stakeholders.
• Contributing to test automation strategy, including tool choices and coverage.
• Advising on optimization of test approach and processes.
• Working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
