In The Pocket is seeking a backend software engineer to design, develop, and secure cloud-based services. You’ll join autonomous teams delivering scalable APIs and modern infrastructure.

You’ll work with Java, Spring, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, and AI tooling to accelerate delivery while upholding security and quality. Permanent contract; competitive salary; medical insurance; meal vouchers; mobility budget; learning budget after six months.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with backend software development and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Java and JVM ecosystem; Spring for project implementations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth/OIDC) and databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, IaC and security best practices.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and implement backend APIs with secure, efficient code.
• Migrate and manage cloud infrastructure across platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Automate deployments and IaC using Terraform and related tools.
• Optimise cloud costs and scalability of services.
• Implement security controls and OWASP-aligned measures.
• Troubleshoot complex backend issues and improve reliability.
• Stay current with cloud trends and integrate AI tools into workflows.
• Collaborate across autonomous teams to deliver high-quality software.
