Michael Page International (Belgium) is seeking a Senior SAP Retail Business Consultant to optimize and evolve SAP Retail solutions across the end-to-end retail value chain. You will gather requirements, translate into functional specs, and drive improvements.

You will collaborate with business users, project teams, and external partners while supporting data migration and governance initiatives. English plus French or Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Admin, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 8 years SAP experience, including 5 years focused on SAP Retail.
• Proven experience in large-scale retail and international environments.
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Support, optimize, and evolve SAP Retail solutions across the end-to-end retail value chain.
• Configure SAP Retail functionalities and align with SAP best practices.
• Gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across units and countries.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line functional support and coordinate issue resolution.
• Contribute to SAP transformation and S/4HANA projects (workshops, design, testing, deployment).
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, partners, and service providers.
• Support integrations with eCommerce, WMS, ERP, POS, EDI, and other systems.
• Assist data migration activities and promote data governance.
• Mentor junior team members and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Ensure stability, performance, and long-term sustainability of SAP Retail solutions.

As IT SAP Retail Consultant, you will join a team of experienced professionals working closely with stakeholders across business and IT functions to deliver impactful solutions that support the organization's long‑term ambitions.

Job Description

As Senior SAP Retail Business Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and evolving SAP Retail solutions across the end‑to‑end retail value chain.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and enhancing SAP Retail business processes across procurement, inventory management, assortment management, pricing, replenishment, logistics, and store operations.
• Gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and effective SAP solutions.
• Configuring SAP Retail functionalities and ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.
• Driving process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across business units and countries.
• Providing 2nd and 3rd line functional support, investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and coordinating issue resolution.
• Contributing to SAP transformation and S/4HANA‑related projects by participating in workshops, solution design activities, testing, and deployment initiatives.
• Collaborating with business users, project teams, implementation partners, and external service providers.
• Supporting system integrations with eCommerce platforms, warehouse management solutions, financial applications, POS systems, EDI interfaces, and other third‑party solutions.
• Assisting data migration activities and promoting data quality and governance best practices.
• Acting as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders while mentoring junior team members and facilitating knowledge transfer.
• Ensuring the stability, performance, and long‑term sustainability of SAP Retail solutions

The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you will combine strong SAP Retail expertise with excellent stakeholder management and problem‑solving capabilities.

You ideally bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of SAP experience, including a minimum of 5 years focused on SAP Retail.
• Proven experience working within large‑scale retail organizations and complex international environments.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch.
