Rhox in Charleroi is seeking a senior IT Project Manager to lead the technical delivery of a large finance ERP, coordinating internal IT teams, the integrator, and the ERP vendor to translate finance requirements into ERP interfaces, BI tools, data migration and testing.

You will manage dependencies, ensure IT quality and security, and transfer knowledge to internal teams after go-live, enabling sustained operation with reduced external support.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT project management and finance in large organisations.
• 5+ years change management supporting new finance processes and systems.
• Experience delivering major ERP projects (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics) with interfaces.

A large organisation is implementing a finance ERP as part of a broader digital transformation of its accounting and budgeting operations. As a senior IT Project Manager, you will lead the technical delivery across internal development teams, an integrator, and the ERP vendor, connecting business requirements from finance with ERP interfaces, BI tools, data migration, and technical testing. The role combines ERP project management with coordination across a complex existing information system.

The mission

The programme brings a major ERP into an existing information system rather than treating the finance platform as an isolated implementation. You will oversee local dependencies, interfaces between the information system and ERP, associated developments, integration streams, data migration led by the integrator, and technical tests. The work must support general and budgetary accounting while meeting IT quality and security standards.

Your scope is the technical workstream from design through implementation and knowledge transfer. You will coordinate internal IT teams, the integrator, the ERP vendor, the functional project manager, and finance stakeholders to resolve dependencies and maintain delivery progress. After production, your work will help internal IT teams operate and support the solution with reduced reliance on external parties.

Your responsibilities

• Lead internal development teams, the integrator, and the ERP vendor to deliver the technical workstream against agreed requirements.
• Coordinate ERP interfaces, local system dependencies, and related developments so that the new finance platform fits the existing information system.
• Govern integration activities, data migration, and technical testing, ensuring that issues are identified and resolved before production.
• Enforce technical quality, IT architecture, and security standards across project deliverables.
• Align IT, the functional project manager, and finance teams by clarifying business requirements and removing delivery blockers.
• Transfer knowledge from the integrator and ERP vendor to internal teams, supporting operational autonomy after go-live.

Your profile

Essential skills

• Bring at least 15 years of experience in IT project management and finance, with a track record in large organisation experience.
• Demonstrate at least 5 years of change management experience, including the ability to support adoption of new finance processes and systems.
• Manage a major ERP such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics, including interfaces, integration, and technical delivery.
• Apply practical knowledge of general and budgetary accounting when translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work effectively with BI tools, existing information systems, and multiple technical and functional stakeholders.
• Analyse complex dependencies, manage several workstreams simultaneously, and communicate clearly with internal teams and external suppliers.

Preferred skills

• Experience with mainframe environments and their integration with modern ERP platforms.
