Role Overview

As Manager for the Center of Excellence Platform you will lead the creation and implementation of the DevOps product and services strategy while supporting the overall global IT processes. You will oversee the Product SRE members within the product teams and directly impact the implementation of the Platform strategy. Your goal is to establish an ongoing operation of innovation, product and service roadmap, continuous optimization, efficiency and operational excellence within the Center of Excellence (CoE). The CoE includes practices such as CI/CD, IT Automation, Observability, Databases and Middleware.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT strategic leadership by contributing to the development and execution of the CoE strategy, ensuring alignment with the enterprise's IT and business strategy and delivering the required capabilities for business success.
• Translate strategic objectives into tactical action plans, set and measure KPIs, and monitor progress.
• Assess external and internal technology capabilities to determine suitability for integration with the existing IT CoE environment.
• Lead a team of experts (with team leads) responsible for services and products, delivering state‑of‑the‑art IT services within the CoE domain.
• Drive high‑performing teams by unlocking potential, managing performance, coaching, and creating an engaging environment.
• Foster learning and knowledge sharing through educational materials and resources within the CoE and across the organization, emphasizing mastery and craftsmanship.
• Build a strong organization by attracting, developing, and retaining the right competencies and capabilities to meet objectives.
• Define desired cultural attributes for the CoE and motivate team members to implement cultural changes.
• Collaborate with business operations and IT Service Management teams to ensure smooth coordination of IT changes without impacting business processes.
• Ensure projects and programs are prioritized in line with TVH strategy, aiming for a first‑time‑right approach and a trusted partnership model.
• Act as a business partner, continuously aligning on priorities and relevance, and adjusting where necessary.
• Work with CoE managers and colleagues on globally confronted challenges to improve user and business experience and support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ICT or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Remote people management experience in an international context.
• Professional knowledge of DevOps, platform services, CI/CD and automation.
• Managerial experience.
• Excellent people‑management, organizational, interpersonal, and communicative skills.
• Ability to translate strategy into a tactical action plan.
• Reliable, discreet, positive attitude, diplomatic, problem‑solving, stress‑resistant, flexible, and highly responsible.
• Decisive and initiative‑driven.
