Job summary

Editx in Brussels is seeking an IT Manager who blends leadership with hands-on technical contribution across budgeting, DORA, and IT projects. You will guide the internal IT Support team, spearhead projects, and own regulatory documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

You'll work closely with business stakeholders, coordinate with external IT providers, and translate technical ideas into practical, business-oriented solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires prior IT management experience and leadership of an IT support team.
• Ability to drive IT projects end-to-end and interact with business stakeholders.
• Proven understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance processes (DORA).

Our partner is a national company operating in a highly regulated environment, with a lean structure where IT plays a key role in business operations. They are looking for an IT Manager who enjoys being both a leader and a hands-on technical contributor.

This is not a purely managerial position: you'll lead a Support team, get involved in IT projects, work closely with business stakeholders and take ownership of key compliance requirements, including DORA documentation and processes. Your decisions will translate into concrete improvements, giving you the autonomy to make a visible difference.

IT Manager - Your Role

• Lead & empower the team: Guide and develop the internal IT Support team while remaining involved in day-to-day operations and technical challenges.


• Drive IT projects hands-on: Take an active role in implementation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement, turning technical ideas into tangible outcomes.


• Own IT infrastructure partnerships: Coordinate with external IT providers, ensure effective collaboration and maintain clear accountability for infrastructure-related activities.
