Daikin Europe is seeking an IT Infrastructure Solution Architect to join the IT Infra Networking & Connectivity team in Belgium. You will design and implement state-of-the-art infrastructure solutions, collaborating with the IT Infrastructure Domain Architect to align with strategic roadmaps.

Responsibilities include defining standards for networking, taking ownership of technology strategy, guiding project implementations, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch.
• Strong team player with an optimistic, solution-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel for short business trips abroad.

• Develop, modify, and enforce standards & roadmaps for networking & connectivity.
• Take ownership of the domain from a technology point of view and adapt to industry evolutions.
• Oversee the technical implementation of solutions during projects with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in a structured manner.

Are you a seasoned IT professional with a deep understanding of network infrastructure and security? We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Solution Architect to join our IT Infra Networking & Connectivity team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the IT Infrastructure Domain Architect to design and implement state-of-the-art solutions within your assigned domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions and present them in a clear and understandable manner to various stakeholders.
• Develop, modify, and enforce standards & roadmaps for the networking & connectivity domain.
• Take ownership of the domain from a technology point of view and ensure industry evolutions are efficiently incorporated into the strategy.
• Assist and oversee the technical implementation of solutions during projects, working with both internal technical teams and external partners.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in a structured manner.

Essential Skills and Expertise:

Extensive knowledge of:

• Local Area Network (LAN)
• Wireless Networks (WLAN)
• Routing
• Network Services (e.g., DHCP, DNS, IPAM)
• Network Security (e.g., Firewalls, Network Access Control, Web Application Firewall)

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• WAN & SD-WAN, VPN
• SASE/SSE
