Vivid Resourcing Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support and manage a range of IT infrastructure projects in the Ghent region.

This hands-on role combines technical involvement with end-to-end project management, coordinating internal teams, external suppliers and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Formación

• Proven experience as IT Infrastructure Project Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and environments.
• Experience managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously.
• Hands-on technical involvement with structured project management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary IT teams and external suppliers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong technical background to support and manage a variety of IT infrastructure projects in the Ghent region.

This is a hands-on role combining technical involvement in IT infrastructure with end-to-end project management responsibilities. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering multiple infrastructure projects, while also being able to understand the technical challenges, contribute to technical discussions and work closely with infrastructure teams.

The ideal candidate combines solid project management skills with practical knowledge of IT infrastructure and is comfortable operating at both the technical and organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage multiple IT infrastructure projects from initiation through planning, execution and delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements.
• Coordinate internal IT teams, external suppliers, technical specialists and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, dependencies and deadlines.
• Organize project meetings, report on progress and communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed quality standards, business requirements and security policies.

Technical IT Infrastructure

• Actively contribute to the technical aspects of infrastructure projects, working closely with infrastructure engineers and architects.
• Understand and coordinate infrastructure activities across areas such as servers, networks, storage, cloud environments, virtualization, workplace infrastructure and data centers.
• Support technical analysis, solution design discussions, implementation planning and infrastructure migrations.
• Challenge technical proposals where necessary and help translate business requirements into practical infrastructure solutions.
• Coordinate infrastructure changes, upgrades, installations and migrations while minimizing operational disruption.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, testing, handover and knowledge transfer following project completion.

Stakeholder & Team Coordination

• Act as the central point of contact between technical teams, business stakeholders, management and external partners.
• Align technical activities with business priorities and operational requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
• Ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, Infrastructure Project Lead or in a similar technical project management role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and environments.
• Experience managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously.
• Ability to combine hands-on technical involvement with structured project management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary IT teams and external suppliers.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
