Job summary

Allianz Benelux seeks an IT Demand Manager to coordinate IT demand intake, manage estimation workflows with providers, and ensure transparent demand tracking.

You will validate estimates against benchmarks and maintain the demand register, ensuring supplier readiness and delivery feasibility within a hybrid work model. A degree in IT, Engineering, or Business is required with fluency in English; Dutch or French is a strong advantage.

Job description

Are you ready to shape how business needs are translated into IT solutions? As an IT Demand Manager, you'll be the crucial link between business stakeholders and IT providers, ensuring incoming requests are clearly defined, properly validated, and supported with accurate effort and cost estimations.

Role Summary

In this strategic position, you'll coordinate the entire IT demand intake process, manage estimation workflows with providers, and maintain transparent demand tracking. Your analytical mindset and collaborative approach will ensure IT demand is managed efficiently and transparently across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT Demand Intake: Serve as the single point of contact for business-initiated IT requests, reviewing and structuring them for clarity and completeness before submission.
• Manage Estimation Process: Facilitate the end-to-end estimation process with internal and external IT providers, ensuring delivery partners assess feasibility, conduct capacity checks, and provide estimates within agreed timelines.
• Validate and Challenge Estimates: Critically assess proposed estimates using internal benchmarks, historical data, and expert knowledge to identify anomalies or excessive costs.
• Maintain Transparent Demand Tracking: Keep an up-to-date demand register to track status, estimate cycles, and provider feedback, ensuring traceability between demand intake and final delivery.
• Ensure Supplier Readiness and Delivery Feasibility: Confirm that IT suppliers have adequate capacity and contractual coverage to deliver the estimated work. Liaise with procurement and finance where needed and contribute to continuous improvement of estimation accuracy over time.

Your Profile

You have experience working with business stakeholders to structure IT requests and are familiar with estimation models and benchmarking practices. Your hands‑on experience coordinating with IT providers and understanding of the demand‑to‑delivery lifecycle are essential. With strong communication and analytical skills, you excel at bringing diverse stakeholders together.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or Business Administration and fluency in English are required, with Dutch and/or French being a strong advantage. You're proactive, structured, solution-oriented, and value transparency in all interactions.
