Amaris Consulting is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join the Brussels team under the VIE programme. You will translate business needs into digital solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams across industries.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of BA experience, along with strong BA techniques and proficiency with Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps. Fluency in French and English is mandatory, with relocation to Brussels.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques, requirements engineering, and functional documentation.
• Experience writing user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or other business process modelling techniques.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional validation.
• Exposure to digital transformation, enterprise applications, or system implementation projects is considered an asset.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or data analysis is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English (mandatory).
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
• Motivated to relocate to Brussels under the VIE programme.

Responsabilités

• Gather, analyze, and challenge business requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze and optimize business processes using BPMN, UML, or similar modelling techniques.
• Support solution design by identifying opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, and delivered solutions.
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate delivered functionalities, and support issue resolution.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure effective communication between business and technical teams.
• Contribute to delivering scalable, user‑centric, and high-quality digital solutions.
