Rhox is modernising its life insurance information systems in Belgium. The IS Life Architecture Team seeks a medior Solution Architect and Functional Designer to translate business needs into pragmatic end-to-end solutions.

You will connect COBOL on Micro Focus with .NET and Angular services using Domain-Driven Design and asynchronous integrations. You will collaborate with stakeholders, IS delivery teams, and transversal architecture groups to validate designs against standards and drive

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect and Functional Designer.
• Apply DDD concepts and asynchronous integrations to define service boundaries.
• Translate complex requirements into end-to-end solutions for life-insurance platforms.
• Communicate options clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Synthesize large information, assess dependencies, balance cost and run costs.
• Work flexibly with evolving constraints and drive practical innovation.

Responsabilités

• Design end-to-end solutions for life insurance systems translating objectives into architecture.
• Analyse requirements, compare options, estimate dependencies and costs.
• Define domain models and asynchronous integrations across legacy and modern platforms.
• Align business, delivery, architecture, infrastructure and operations teams.
• Govern solution quality by documenting decisions and adhering to standards.
• Shape short-, mid- and long-term technology evolution with opportunities for innovation.
