Keystone Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect for a client-site consultancy in the Life Insurance domain. You will design end-to-end solutions, translating business needs into robust architectural artefacts and ensuring governance and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The role is hybrid, with a path to modernize legacy COBOL environments toward .NET and Angular, collaborating with IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Solution Architect and a Functional Designer.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) concepts and asynchronous integrations.
• Preferable: Life Insurance domain, ArchiMate, .NET, Angular, and COBOL.

Responsabilités

• Design end-to-end solutions aligned with business needs and architectural principles.
• Engage from project initiation to production, ensuring alignment among stakeholders.
• Work in a hybrid landscape, transitioning COBOL Microfocus to .NET and Angular.
• Analyze requirements, propose options, and design pragmatic, sustainable solutions.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust solutions and foster IT-business collaboration.
• Ensure quality governance and documentation of solutions, and present designs to the architecture board.
• Define a short, medium, and long-term vision for IT system development.
• Challenge and validate proposed solutions with the technical architecture team.
• Consider costs for implementation and maintainability of solutions.
• Encourage innovative ideas while adhering to architectural standards.

Mission Overview

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect for a consultancy mission at a client site. In this role, you will leverage your IT expertise to support a wide range of strategic initiatives within the Life Insurance division. The projects aim to enhance operational efficiency, modernize legacy platforms, and drive technological innovation in critical assets used by clients and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions aligned with business needs and architectural principles, supporting their implementation.
• Engage from project initiation to production, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders.
• Work in a hybrid landscape, with a significant portion of applications still operating in a COBOL Microfocus environment while transitioning to .NET and Angular.
• Analyze requirements, propose options, and design pragmatic, sustainable solutions in accordance with IT architectural standards.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust solutions, fostering collaboration between IT and business teams.
• Ensure quality governance and documentation of solutions, presenting architectural designs to the architecture board.
• Define a short, medium, and long-term vision for IT system development.
• Challenge and validate proposed solutions with the technical architecture team.
• Consider costs for implementation and maintainability of solutions.
• Encourage innovative ideas and ensure adherence to architectural standards.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Mandatory: 2-5 years as a Solution Architect and Functional Designer.
• Mandatory: Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) concepts and asynchronous integrations.
• Preferable: Experience in Life Insurance, ArchiMate, .NET, Angular, and COBOL.

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English, Dutch, and French.
