TiTANS België invites a motivated Risk Officer to join the Portfolio Risk Management team within Investment Services. You will assess and mitigate risks, focusing on control execution and monthly risk reporting, working closely with portfolio managers and relationship managers in a BNP Paribas Fortis context.

The role requires strong data skills, the ability to drive risk-related projects, and proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Competenze

Mission context
Investment Services, as part of BNP Paribas Fortis Affluent and Private Banking, is responsible for providing clients with performant discretionary and advisory investment solutions.

The Portfolio Risk Management team within Investment Services is looking for a motivated Risk Officer to join the two internal Risk Officers under guidance of the team coach. You will play a key role in assessing, and mitigating risks that may impact our organization. The focus of this role will be on control execution, ensuring that our risk management processes are effective by performing controls on a broad scope of portfolio management activities. Additionally, you will also be responsible for taking on risk-related projects as needed, in close collaboration with the team coach.

• Perform controls on Advisory Portfolio Management, Discretionary Portfolio Management and Execution Only activities in terms of diversification, asset allocation, etc., in line with local and BNP Paribas Group procedures
• Provide feedback to portfolio managers when needed in the case of negative control results.
• Improve and deliver with the rest of the team a monthly Risk Dashboard and Portfolio Risk Report for risk monitoring purposes.
• Support the team in business-as-usual mode, following-up on daily ad hoc requests for validations, advice and questions from portfolio managers, and relationship managers.
• Report, animate, and follow up on portfolio risk management topics within the department and in cooperation with other BNP Paribas Fortis and Group teams
• Participate in the Investment Services Risk Committee for those topics assigned to you and follow up on action points.
• Set up new controls.

• Dutch: Strong written and spoken communication skills
• French: Strong written and spoken communication skills
• English: Profound knowledge

Education

Required experience / knowledge

At least 2 years of relevant experience

Technical experience mandatory

• Good expertise in MS Office
• Familiar with various IT Tools
• Good expertise in treating & visualizing data.

Knowledge of Themenos Triple'A would be considered a plus, but is not required.

Business experience

Experience with Risk Management or Operational Permanent Controls frameworks and methodologies are considered a plus. Affinity with the financial world / portfolio management, markets & macro-economy.
