Qualifications

Internship in Small-Cap Transaction Advisory

To support the continued growth of our Small-Cap Transaction Advisory practice in Belgium, we are seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our team in Brussels.

In this role, you will be actively involved in a broad range of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments. You will work with entrepreneurial, family-owned, and high-growth small-cap companies across a diverse range of industries, gaining hands‑on exposure to live transactions and strategic projects.

Our lean deal team structure offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior bankers and experienced advisors on a daily basis. From day one, you will take on meaningful responsibilities, contribute directly to client deliverables, and play an integral role throughout the execution of transactions.

You will report directly to the Head of Small-Cap Transaction Advisory and gain valuable insight into the full lifecycle of advisory engagements within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Your position

• Contributing to the team’s prospection efforts by preparing tailored pitches and participating in their commercial presentation towards potential clients
• Drafting presentations and preparing memoranda for clients, advisors, investors and other third parties
• Creating financial models and carry out in-depth analyses of companies, industries and markets
• Supporting in transaction execution and coordination between clients, advisors, investors and other third parties

Your profile

• You have strong analytical and numerical skills
• You are passionate about M&A, financial modelling and corporate strategy
• You have a first relevant internship experience in Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Corporate Development, Transaction Services or any comparable function within the financial sector
• You have an outstanding academic background (preferably a master degree in (applied) economics, business engineering, or civil engineering or law with an additional finance degree)
• You are fluent in French or Dutch and English
• You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• You have a strong client-oriented mindset
• You are results-driven with a hands‑on approach
• You enjoy working in a team setting but are also able to work autonomously
• You are committed to excellence and willing to maintain high professional standards

Internship period: As of January/February 2027, for a period of 4 to 6 months
