GSK in Belgium is offering a 4 to 6 month internship with the Global Supply Chain Planning team. You will support planning activities to ensure reliable supply and timely delivery, working with planners, operations, procurement and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master programme in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial or Business Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • The internship must be mandatory and formalised with a signed agreement between your educational establishment, you and GSK.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and spreadsheets.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
  • Willingness to work primarily on site in Belgium; limited hybrid options may apply.
  • Preferred qualifications include Power BI or Tableau experience, Python or SQL basics, and knowledge of French or Dutch.

Position Summary

You will join our Global Supply Chain Planning team in Belgium for a 4 to 6 month internship in 2026. You will support planning activities that help ensure reliable supply and timely delivery. You will work closely with planners, operations, procurement and logistics to analyse data and improve processes. We value curiosity, collaboration and clear communication. Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Support demand and supply planning tasks, including data collection and forecast updates.
  • Analyse inventory, lead times and service metrics to identify supply risks and opportunities.
  • Build simple supply scenarios to balance demand, capacity and inventory.
  • Track shipments and coordinate with logistics and procurement partners to support on-time delivery.
  • Contribute to small automation or process improvement tasks to increase planning efficiency.
  • Prepare clear reports and visualisations to share insights with stakeholders.

You will collaborate with supply planners, production planners, procurement, logistics and quality colleagues. You will receive coaching and regular feedback. Work will be practical, cross‑functional and focused on learning.

What you will learn

Core principles of integrated supply chain planning in a regulated environment.

How to interpret forecasts, inventory metrics and supply performance.

Scenario planning and basic risk mitigation techniques.

How to present data clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

Practical use of planning tools and spreadsheets.

Continuous improvement methods relevant to supply planning.

This role matters

Your work will help reduce supply risk and improve availability for patients. You will take on real tasks and see the impact of your work across the supply chain.

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master programme in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial or Business Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • The internship must be mandatory and formalised with a signed agreement between your educational establishment, you and GSK.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualification
  • Prior internship or project experience in supply chain, planning or logistics.
  • Basic understanding of forecasting and inventory management concepts.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Basic scripting or querying skills (Python or SQL) for data analysis.
  • Ability to explain technical ideas simply to non‑technical colleagues.
  • Knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage.
Work arrangements

This internship is primarily on site in Belgium. You will be expected to attend core activities and site learning sessions. Exact schedule and duration will be agreed with your educational establishment and follow Belgian regulations.
