Schroders is seeking a curious Student/Intern to join the Finance Data Services team in Luxembourg. You will contribute to data management, revenue reporting and group AUM reporting across Schroders funds and accounts.

You will work on data aggregation, data integration enhancements, reconciliations and process documentation, using Excel and Access, with daily checks from global locations, and you will gain exposure to multiple finance operations processes.

Qualifications

• Background in Economics, Accounting and/or Finance.
• Fluent English—written and oral; additional European language is a bonus.
• Good organizational skills and computer literacy in Excel.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic Student/Internto join ourFinance Data Services (FDS) team in the Luxembourg Finance department. FDS forms part of the Global Finance Operations division whichoperatesservice centres in London, Luxembourg and Singapore that provide data management, revenue, cost,cashand reporting solutions to the Schroders Groupglobally.

The team

Finance Data Services, as part of its data management role, collects and enhances client assets under management and flow information from Schroders funds and segregated accounts worldwide. This data isconsolidatedinto a central data repository and is used in multiple Finance Operations processes such as revenue allocation, rebates calculation, billing, Group AUM reporting and operational reporting. The team ensures the data quality by conducting thorough data checks and controls. The same data is used to support Group operational and MI needs in multiple other functions such as Distribution and Investment.

As an intern in Finance Data Services, you will be involved in the following projects:

• Data aggregation via new data feeds and the enhancement of data integration functionalities
• Data breakdown implementation
• Specific internalPrograms

As part of these projects,your responsibilities will include:

• Data analysis,Reconciliations, Implementationand Process documentation
• Ad-hoc analysis and projects, supporting group initiatives
• Reconciliations
• Work with mapping tables, cross-codingand data set migrations
• Daily data checks and data set-ups from global locations
• Static data administration by using several systems, but also MS Excel / Access

The knowledge,experienceand qualifications you need

• A background inEconomics,Accountingand/orFinance;
• Fluent Englishboth written and oral –additionalEuropean language skills would be of benefit,
• Good organizational skills and computer literacy in Excel;
