Alter Domus seeks a portfolio accounting professional to join its securitisation team in Luxembourg. You will manage a portfolio of transactions, maintain records, prepare NAVs and tax returns, and support audits with investors and custodians.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in accounting or economics, 3+ years in securitisation, and is fluent in English; French/German is a plus. Proficiency with eFront is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, audit or economics, master’s preferred.
• Experience with securitisation portfolios under Luxembourg GAAP.
• Knowledge of private credit and trade finance structures.
• Ability to monitor issuer responsibilities and coordinate actions.
• Proficient with eFront; familiarity with BoB50 is a plus.

• Act as a key contact between shareholders, investment managers, and custodian banks.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will work as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs. Specific responsibilities include the following:

• Managing a portfolio of securitisation transactions involving but not limited to private credit and trade finance transactions.


• Maintaining the accounting records for multicompartment SV, managing liquidity and cost allocation between compartments, preparing the periodic valuations (Net Asset Value), year end financial statements, regulatory reporting, and any other investors reports.


• Preparation of capital call notices, distribution notices and NAV statement and managing of the notes issuance, notes settlement and registers maintenanc


• Assisting in the coordination of year-end audits.


• Assisting in the organisation of transaction approval board meetings and shareholders’ meetings (including drafting of the minutes) together with other corporate actions related to the transaction based on the closing documentation.


• Preparing periodic tax and VAT returns and maintaining relevant contact with the Luxembourg tax authorities and tax advisers


• Acting as a contact person between shareholders, investment managers, and custodian banks for resolution of any issues that may arise.

YOUR PROFILE:

• You have at least bachelor’s degree in accounting, Audit or Economics. Master's degree would be an advantage.


• You have at least 1 year of experience working on the portfolio of securitisation transactions under Luxembourg GAAP and 3 years of relevant experience in total


• You master accounting treatment of private credit portfolios and trade finance transaction (including multicompartment structure, liquidity management and cost allocation methods)


• You are familiar with how the securitisation transaction is structured and understand the responsibilities of the Issuer in the transaction and able to monitor and drive the actions required.


• You are a profficient used of eFront (knowledge of BoB50 would be an adavantage) and you arecomfortable using technology and tools designed to automate, simplify and improve efficiency (investor portals, loan administration software outputs)


• You are fluent in English (knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as an asset).You possess team spirit, a capacity to build strong client relationships and take initiative to act without waiting for direction (when appropriate).
