Job summary

ExxonMobil invites graduate engineers to join internship opportunities in the Antwerp Area. Interns will be coached by a dedicated ExxonMobil coordinator and contribute to a clear project within engineering departments in a dynamic environment.

The program offers a hands-on view of how ExxonMobil operates, with projects including process simulation, safety studies, and economic analysis. This is a short-term, summertime internship designed to develop future leaders in engineering.

Qualifications

• University students: MSc Civil Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Applied Physics) and Bioscience Engineering (Chemistry & Bioprocess Technology, Catalytic Technology), in their 3rd year Bachelor or 1st year Master.
• Fluency in Dutch and English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a project for one of our engineering departments during the internship.
• Engage in internship projects such as Process simulation, Safety studies, Monitoring software, Economic studies.

As an intern you have a well-defined task and are coached by a dedicated ExxonMobil coordinator. Each internship subject contributes to our business and gives you a ‘taste’ of a typical starting position with ExxonMobil.

During your internship you will perform a project for one of our engineering departments and learn to work independently in a professional environment.

Typical internship projects may be:

• Process simulation
• Safety studies
• Monitoring software
• Economic studies

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work with inspiring and diverse teams and join us for a 4 to 6

weeks internship during summertime.

About you

• University students: Msc Civil Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Applied Physics) and Bioscience Engineering (Chemistry & Bioprocess Technology, Catalytic Technology), in their 3rd year Bachelor or 1st year Master
• fluency in Dutch and English
