Robert Bosch Productie NV in Tienen offers a 6-month internship in the AI Lighthouse team, focusing on data engineering, digitalization and manufacturing processes. You will support ongoing AI and data projects and act as a data contact point across stakeholders.

Duration is 6 months with English as the language; you will work with manufacturing teams to align data solutions with operations and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, IT, Business Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in digitalization, data engineering and AI-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of PowerBI semantic model and report development.
• Willingness to learn and a proactive mindset.

Job Description

As an intern within the AI Lighthouse, you will support ongoing projects at the intersection of data engineering, digitalization, and manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities:

• Support project management activities within AI and digitalization projects.
• Contribute to process streamlining and optimization initiatives.
• Act as a contact point for data-related topics across stakeholders.
• Interface with manufacturing teams to align data solutions with operational needs.
• Support data engineering activities, including data structuring and flow development.
• Contribute to the development of mainstream data flows and engineering processes.

Qualifications

Education: Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, IT, Business Engineering, or a related field

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong interest in digitalization, data engineering, and AI-driven solutions.
• Basic knowledge of data engineering concepts is an asset.
• Interest in value streams or manufacturing processes is a plus.
• You are proactive, structured, and have solution-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and openness to new ideas and technologies.
• You have knowledge of PowerBI semantic model an report development.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
