Job summary

Jan De Nul seeks an International Transport Employee to join the standard exports team. Based at Hofstade/Aalst, you will manage transport orders from start to finish and resolve transport issues to keep export operations running smoothly.

You will coordinate with carriers, consignees and forwarders, monitor shipments, and handle related admin. A flexible attitude supports occasional cross-team work as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an administrative or logistics field, or several years’ international transport experience.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to handle transport orders from start to finish and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and finalise transport files, send quotations, and draw up transport documents.
• Create transport orders and monitor associated costs.
• Liaise with carriers, consignees, forwarders and colleagues.
• Actively monitor shipments and anticipate potential delays.
• Occasionally support other teams as needed.
