Job summary

JLL is seeking a Trainee Project Manager (M/F) in Belgium to support redevelopment and fit-out of office spaces. You will work with HR and operations teams, coordinating with architects and designers to translate client needs into practical workplace solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience in project planning, budgeting and risk management while learning to manage a multidisciplinary project team across large-scale renovations.

Qualifications

• Engineering or architecture degree is required.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong rigorous, organized and analytical approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management for redevelopment and fit-out of office spaces, ensuring cost, quality and timeline objectives are met.
• Support the preparation of commercial offers and manage contractual relationships.
• Coordinate with project owners and internal teams to translate needs into fit-out criteria.
• Develop knowledge of corporate real estate needs and workplace strategy.
• Support management teams in reflecting on project challenges and devising design guidelines with architects and designers.
• Develop and monitor project tools: planning, budget, risk analysis, and administrative follow-up.
• Manage external contractors (architect/designer/GCT/contractors) involved in projects and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
• Coordinate and lead the project team and internal stakeholders throughout the project.

What This Job Involves

Our Work Dynamics department advises investors, owners and companies on creating sustainable value and providing project management assistance in construction, renovation, fit‑out, sustainable regeneration or urban redevelopment.

Our consultants focus on creating value and managing risk on behalf of their clients by providing in-depth market knowledge, a rigorous and reliable methodology, and an experienced multidisciplinary team to ensure project success.

Missions

As a Trainee Project Manager M/F, your role will be to assist to:

• Manage projects from A to Z for redevelopment and fit‑out of offices spaces, guaranteeing compliance with the customer's objectives in terms of costs, quality, and planning.
• Draw up and supporting the commercial offer, managing the contractual relationship, assist project meetings, supporting and advising the client in its decision‑making process,
• Be directly in contact with project owners (general management): identifying and understanding the customer's needs, then translating them into fit‑out criteria,
• Develop an in‑depth knowledge of corporate organizations, their real estate needs and impact on their operational business,
• Accompany their management teams (HRD / CFO / Real Estate Directors) in reflecting on the challenges of their real estate projects and translate these challenges in a workplace strategy and design guidelines together with our team of architects and designers.
• Develop and monitoring project management tools: planning, budget, risk analysis, administrative follow‑up, etc,
• Select and managing all the external contractors involved in the project: Architect/Designer/BET/MOEX/General Contractor or Work Contractor/Change Manager, etc,
• Ensure that all parties involved meet their contractual commitments,
• Throughout the project, coordinate and lead the project team, including all the customer's internal stakeholders.

• You are able to manage projects in contact with all types of contacts (General Management - particularly HR - and operational teams in the field).
