Job summary

CMA CGM Belgium in Antwerp is seeking a Transport Support Officer to help organize inland transport operations. You will assist planners and supervisors, manage transport orders, and liaise with transport partners, terminals and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate information flow.

The role requires strong English and Dutch communication, an understanding of intermodal transport, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maritime and/or intermodal transport is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, customer-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize effectively.
• Proactive, solution-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Comfortable with modern IT tools and quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily planning of inland transport (truck, barge, rail).
• Process transport orders and ensure accurate follow-up in the system.
• Communicate with carriers, terminals, depots and internal departments.
• Collect and verify transport documents (in/out reports, POD, customs) and data entry.
• Prepare internal transport reports and operational overviews.
